Duo Sanni & Pauliina
Pauliina Koskinen and Sanni Korhonen are a duo cyr pair who have been seen performing their own solos, for example on the stage of Sirkus Finlandia, in the Waltroper Christmas Circus in Germany and in various NYAS productions, for example on ships in Sweden. With their duo, they have performed, for example, at the Kukko Festival and the Lahti Street Circus Carnival. Sanni's background can be found in youth circus and dance studios, while Pauliina's background can be found in figure skating before moving into the circus world. They met at the Salpaus circus artist training school, from which they both graduated from different year courses a couple of years ago. They both do cyr as one of their solos, and during circus school they began their duo cyr journey together. Their trademark is combining dance with their circus acts. Duo cyr is an extremely rare circus discipline that is rarely seen performed by a female couple. This variation of cyr requires exceptional synchronization, technical skill and trust in each other from the performers.
