Terms of use – Trillagora event search engine service
1. General conditions
Welcome to the Trillagora search engine service (“Service”). The Service is a web-based platform that connects event service providers and customers looking for services such as performers, event workers, technical solutions or other event-related services. By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
The Service is provided by Wadessa Ltd, hereinafter referred to as “We” or the “Service”. We reserve the right to change these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on the Service’s website, and your continued use of the Service constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
The service is primarily provided in Finnish and in euros, but can also be used from abroad within these terms and conditions.
2. Terms of use for customers (Search users)
2.1 Use of the Service
- The service is intended for individuals, companies, public bodies, associations, communities, foundations and other organisations looking for event-related services such as performers, catering or technical solutions.
- You can use the search function for free without registering, unless otherwise stated. Additional services, such as sending requests for quotations, require registration* (*free of charge, see section 2.5).
- You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and to comply with applicable laws and regulations.
2.2 Limitation of liability
- We are not responsible for the accuracy, quality or availability of the information provided by service providers. Our role is only to provide information and connect parties.
- We are not a party to the contract between you and the service provider. All contracts, payments and complaints are handled directly with the service provider.
- We do not guarantee the availability of service providers.
2.3 User responsibilities
- You must not use the Service in a harassing, abusive or fraudulent manner or for any unlawful purpose.
- If you contact a service provider through the Service, you agree to act honestly and fairly.
2.4 Personal data
- We collect and process your personal data only for the purpose of providing and developing the Service. For more information, please see our Privacy Policy.
2.5 Registration and additional services
- You can use the basic search function of the Service without registering. Registration is optional, but necessary to use additional services, such as sending requests for quotes through the Service to one or more service providers. Your data (e.g. name, email address) related to requests for quotations will be transmitted to the service providers of your choice.
- By registering, you agree to provide truthful information (e.g. name, email address) and to keep it up to date.
- In submitting requests for quotations, you agree to act honestly, fairly and in accordance with the purpose of the Service. You may not use the Service to send spam or harass service providers, for example, and any such misuse may result in restriction of use of the Service or legal action.
- We reserve the right to restrict or block your use of additional services if you breach these terms.
- Requests for quotations sent from abroad will be forwarded to service providers in the same way, and the service will operate primarily in Finnish and in euros, unless otherwise agreed.
3. Terms of use for service providers (Registered entities)
3.1 Registration
- You can register as a service provider if you provide event-related services, such as performances, technical solutions or other event-related services.
- By registering, you agree to provide truthful and up-to-date information about yourself and your services, including contact details, service descriptions and prices (if applicable).
- We reserve the right to reject your registration or delete your profile if we have doubts about the accuracy of the information or if your activities violate these terms.
3.2 Provision of services
- You are responsible for the quality, availability and accuracy of the services you provide.
- All agreements and payments with customers are between you and the customer. We are not party to these agreements and do not collect payments from customers on your behalf.
3.3 Fees and charges
- There is a fee to register as a service provider. The fee is €50 + VAT 25.5% per year, and details of the payment terms will be provided at the time of registration. The consumer customer has the right to cancel the paid registration within 14 days of the conclusion of the contract.
- Payment terms will be indicated at the time of registration. Failure to pay may result in the deletion of your profile.
- The fees are charged in euros and include value added tax (VAT) in accordance with Finnish legislation.
3.4 User responsibilities
- You agree to keep your profile information up to date and to respond to customer communications within a reasonable time.
- You must not use the Service for misleading, illegal or offensive purposes.
3.5 Limitation of liability
- We do not guarantee that you will receive customers through the Service. Our role is only to provide visibility for your services.
- You are responsible for any claims, damages or disputes with customers arising from your services.
3.6 Personal data
- We process the information you provide during registration in order to provide the Service. We may also receive customer information (e.g. in connection with requests for quotations), which we process in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
4. Intellectual property rights
- The contents of the Service, including texts, graphics and logos, are the property of Trillagora or its licensors. You may not copy or use the content without permission.
- As a Service Provider, the content you upload (e.g. images, descriptions) remains your property, but you grant us the right to use it in the marketing and operation of the Service.
5. Suspension and termination of service
- We may suspend or discontinue providing the Service for good cause or at our discretion, endeavouring to give prior notice where possible. Where possible, we will also notify foreign users of the suspension or discontinuance on our website in Finnish or English.
- We may delete your user profile or block your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if we suspect fraudulent activity.
6. Applicable law and dispute resolution
- These terms and conditions are governed by Finnish law, unless otherwise required by mandatory law (e.g. the consumer protection law of the user’s home country). Disputes will be resolved by negotiation, but if this is not possible, disputes will be resolved primarily by the Oulu District Court, but the consumer has the right to take the matter to the competent court in his/her place of residence if the law so requires.
