2. Purpose of processing personal data
We collect and process personal data for the following purposes:
- Customers (search users): we allow you to search for event services and contact service providers.
- Service providers: we provide visibility for your services and allow you to create a profile and contact customers.
- Service development, analysis and marketing: e.g. offering targeted service suggestions.
- Registered users: we enable additional services, such as sending requests for quotes to service providers, and process data to perform these functions.
3. Personal data processed
3.1 Customers (users of the search function)
- Information provided voluntarily: name, email address, phone number (if you contact the service provider or register with the service).
- Automatically collected data: IP address, browser data, data collected through cookies (e.g. usage statistics).
- Non-registered users: we only collect automatically stored information such as IP address, browser data and usage statistics collected through cookies.
- Registered users: we collect the information you provide when you register (e.g. name, email address, possibly phone number) and information about your use of additional services (e.g. requests for quotes you send and their content, such as event information). Requests for quotes and their content (e.g. event details, name, contact details) are passed on to service providers.
3.2 Service providers
- Registration information: name, company name, contact details (email, phone, address), service descriptions, billing information (as there is a fee to register as a service provider; more information on fees can be found in the terms of use or during registration).
- Additional information: any information uploaded to your profile, such as pictures or other material.
- Automatically collected data: IP address, login information, usage statistics.
4. Legal basis for processing personal data
- Contract: Data is processed to provide a service (e.g. to create a paid profile for service providers). Data of registered customers for additional services (e.g. requests for quotes) are processed to enable contact.
- Consent: we collect information that you provide voluntarily (e.g. by filling in a contact form or registering).
- Legitimate interest: we will analyse your use to improve our service and marketing, as long as it does not infringe your rights.
5. Data retention period
- Customer data will be kept for as long as necessary to provide the service or to process the contact, but not more than 2 years after inactivity.
- Service providers’ data is kept as long as the profile is active. Once deleted, the profile data will be destroyed within 6 months, unless a longer retention period is required by law (e.g. accounting law).
- Cookie data is kept for 12 months, unless you delete it earlier.
6. Disclosure and transfer of data
- We do not sell or rent your data to third parties.
- Information may be disclosed to service providers if you contact them through our service. Requests for quotes and related information (e.g. name, contact details) sent by registered users will be shared with the service providers to whom the request is addressed.
- We use third party services (e.g. servers, analytics) that may process data on our behalf. These entities act as data processors and comply with GDPR requirements.
- Data will not be transferred outside the EU/EEA unless it is necessary and security is ensured (e.g. by EU model clauses).
- If the service is accessed from outside the EU/EEA and the user enters data that will be processed or transferred to that country (e.g. to send a request for quotation to a foreign service provider), we will primarily comply with the GDPR and local data protection laws where applicable, and ensure data protection, for example through EU model clauses or consents under local laws.
7. Rights of the data subject
You have the following rights:
- Right to inspect: you can request to see what information is stored about you.
- Right of rectification: you can request the correction of incorrect information.
- Right to erasure: You can request the erasure of your data if there are no longer grounds for processing them.
- Right of restriction: you can restrict the processing of your data in certain cases.
- Right to object: you can object to the processing of your data for marketing purposes or on the basis of legitimate interest.
- Right of transfer: you can request the transfer of your data to another controller.

We protect your data with appropriate technical and organisational measures, such as encryption and access control. However, due to the nature of the internet, we cannot guarantee complete protection.
